Very clear on expectations for repair times. Loaner program for you while your mower is being repaired, which is AMAZING. I never had to worry about borrowing a mower from a neighbor or anything. My mower was shot, but they were up front and not pushy about trying to get me to do the repair.

They do the best job on sharpening mower blades. They do it while you wait, and it only takes about 15 minutes! No need to leave them like other places. They are super sharp too! Very friendly staff. I drive 50 minutes to get them done!

If there were a zero star that is what you deserve. Brought in three pieces of equipment 5 weeks later still waiting on 2 of them. The mower took over 2 weeks for a general service. Would never use this location again. Horrible communication, no return phone calls when equipment or when it is done even after a phone conversations with them. Their techs never seem to be working. Every phone call is "well my tech is off today". Steer clear of this place.

1 star is appropriate as it's the singular finger I think of when thinking of Smitty's. I had purchased multiple pieces of equipment from Smitty's over the years (mowers & snow blower) Never had an issue until now. Last Spring purchased a Honda gas mower. Used it last season. Stored for winter. Took into Smitty's in January to be serviced as the cord wouldn't pull to start. Service department said it would be at least 5 weeks before they could even look at it. 6+ weeks later I called them back (they never called me) and they told me my mower was completely destroyed because it had an oil leak. Keep in mind, mower was less than a year old. Must have been magic oil because I had zero oil leaks in my garage nor on the mower. Smitty's said there was nothing they could do but contact Honda, which I did. Honda says my warranty is void because I didn't check oil before each use (LOL!!!). Neither Honda nor Smitty's would do anything. Bottom line, I have a less than one year old mower that won't work and neither Smitty's nor Honda will do anything about it. Thanks Smitty's for treating a "loyal" customer so well. Buyer beware....Smitty's will take your money when purchasing

Took my Stihl chainsaw for service. Though they said it'd take two weeks to even look at it, they got to it next day. That was good, but turned out the repair would have been twice what a new one costs. So I declined. It cost $70 to diagnose, which is fine, and I'd found a few Chinese knock off cylinders/pistons/rings/gasket kits for $35-50 on ebay so thought I'd do a rebuild. Until i picked it up. It was in 20 individual pieces in a box that had an open bottom not even taped. I asked if they don't put them back together and was told "no this is how they leave it". No worries, as I'm rebuilding anyway. Until I found that the open box had caused some small parts to be lost before I got it. I had to request they tape it up and even after taping parts were falling out. Do not recommend service at Smittys.
